Monday’s blog I wrote about Firearms safety and the fundamentals of shooting. The basics, the “fundamentals” are what we need to get good at in order to progress to the next level.
Again the Fundamentals of Shooting are: grip, drawing from the holster, presentation of the firearm to the target, sight alignment/sight picture, trigger press/control, trigger reset and follow thru.
Take a look at the attached video of one of my favorite guys Pat McNamara and listen to him explain the fundamentals of shooting. He hits it right on the money and is very entertaining with it.
The thing to remember is that no matter if you are an advanced shooter or a beginner the fundamentals are what matter.
Learn them and get to the range and practice them like your life depends on it, because it does!
